Salvation Was Just the Beginning
Many believers think the moment they said “yes” to Christ, their spiritual journey is complete. Forgiveness has been received, sin is covered, and eternity is secured. But what if I told you that salvation was never meant to be the end goal? What if God’s ultimate plan for you is far greater than surviving life—He designed you to reign as royalty from His Kingdom today?
Revelation 1:6 clearly declares that every believer is made king and priest. Yet, most Christians live unaware of this truth, caught in cycles of spiritual frustration, unmet potential, and survival-mode living. This isn’t what Christ died for. He didn’t save you just to forgive you; He saved you to empower you to reign in your royal inheritance now.
Why So Many Believers Are “Lost in the Kingdom”
Too many Christians are living with the mindset that salvation alone is enough. They stop at being “saved” and never press into what God intended after salvation—full authority, influence, and impact in His Kingdom.
Ephesians 2:10 reminds us: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
Notice it says “for good works”—not just for spiritual survival, not just for Sunday service attendance, but for active participation in His Kingdom. Believers who don’t pursue this are spiritually underdeveloped. They may read the Bible, pray, and fellowship—but their lives fall short of the royal calling Christ promised.
The Royal Identity You’ve Been Given
The question every believer must ask is simple: Am I living as a saved person or as a reigning child of God?
Christ has already crowned you with authority. Luke 19:17 says, “Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful, you shall be ruler over ten cities.” Your royal authority isn’t a reward for heaven; it’s a present reality to activate here on earth.
To reclaim this identity, you must:
- Recognize and accept your royal status in Christ.
- Activate your duties, and royal authority.
- Walk daily in obedience that produces kingdom royal impact.
